My second piece of art based around Finnish band Apolcalyptica (I’ve also drawn Eicca). The juxtaposition of a classical instrument producing the heavy and more industrial tones you associate with an electric guitar is so powerful. And I haven’t seen another band like them. Their musical talent is extraordinary whether covering heavy metal tracks by Metallica, classical pieces such as Hall of the Mountain King, collaborations with other artists like Corey Taylor, Til Lindeman etc or pure instrumental pieces of their own composition.
